Just now on the X platform, I witnessed a black girl beating a white girl to death in a young group fight. There were black youths in the group who were defending the white girl. I have officially become a witness to this brutality that occurred in the United States. Lately, not only on X but on many platforms, I have been witnessing such incidents of violence. I can say that corruption is present everywhere in the world. Unfortunately, I cannot give a clear answer to the question of where outside my country is safe to live. Also, I am worried about the rapid reflection of these events in my country soon. So why are such incidents increasing or existing?
Human evolution is not progressing equally and fairly all over the world. There are two reasons for this situation. Firstly, politics that fail to provide income and opportunity equality, and secondly, education systems corrupted by politics. People pay significant taxes to be peaceful and safe in their countries. However, in return for the taxes paid, they receive death threats or death. In the American Congress, certain groups can make decisions far from science just because their lobby is powerful. Thus, ideologies that feed nations' enmity are allowed to spread. These hostilities lead to terrorism, funding of terrorist elements, and this situation turning into a struggle for rights. We know. We foresee. So what are the consequences? Who benefits?
The increase in acts of violence, people resorting to violence in a manner that will end someone's life due to losing control, who benefits from this? I was born in 1989. The year I was born, the Berlin Wall fell. We thought the world bid farewell to war. At that time, technology brought completely different beauties and conveniences to our lives. Now, we have come to a place where wars and fights have not ended again. How quickly we forget, there is no winner in war. "War is murder when there is no threat," said our founding leader (whose life was spent in wars) Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, 100 years ago. Those who did not heed him witnessed the Second World War. Such small fights always have global consequences. Let's remember and take precautions. We must prioritize civil defense.
Civil defense should not only be against earthquakes, natural disasters, accidents, but also against seemingly minor incidents of violence. This can only be achieved not by increasing the number of police and soldiers or by giving deterrent penalties, but through good education. Educational platforms have responsibilities towards people's development, quality of life, and peace. Apart from educational content-focused platforms like Aytunga , global content platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar , Twitter, Inc. , Netflix Junkie , Meta , Quara, Coursera , Open Ai Labs , Alphabet / Google In Healthcare vs.. should also take on this task.
On one side are people challenging their intelligence, on the other side are people who can inadvertently kill them due to ignorance. There cannot be such a disconnection between the two sides. There cannot be hunger on one side and extreme wealth on the other. Is it logical to preserve natural life in one place and poison rivers in the other?
I do not need to present statistical data to prove these things. What is happening is evident. Maslow's hierarchy of needs is clear. As generations who have experienced the pandemic in this century, we must understand that a person's cause of death should not be another person. Freedom of hunger, shelter, sex, education should be provided fairly to everyone. If we need to fight those who cannot rise to the next level, who nurture bad intentions, then we should not be a tool of human defense again.
We have technology. We have autonomous systems. Let's come together as technology developers and create global awareness. Let our first agenda be 'education'. Let's mobilize #blockchain , #artificialintelligence , #IoT , and #metaverse technology cultures for world peace through education. Let's consider the media as an educational tool. True defense in the world is education. Only in this way can we deal with marginal groups, hunger, corruption, perversion, and terrorism. Great nations should be in pursuit of consciousness-raising, encouraging development in their societies instead of training terrorists. Otherwise, many great states have collapsed in history because they could not provide justice. They will collapse again. In my short human life, I do not want to see war and violence.
As Aytunga, I am willing to volunteer to mobilize with all educational institutions willing to make effective cooperation in civil defense. None of us had money, nationality, race, religion, culture, or country when we were born. We should not have to pay the price and punishment for things we did not choose. I should not have to share the freedom I have. Therefore, instead of occupying, educate first. Instead of fighting, listen first, then tell.
